Dr. Oyindamola Okenla
Preparing People for Healthy Relationships and Christ-Centered Marriages
Dr. Oyindamola Okenla is an ordained Christian minister, Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach, Professional Life Coach, Certified Christian Counselor, author, speaker, and Transformation Catalyst with more than 30 years of ministry and personal development experience.
She holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology. Her doctoral dissertation, “Intimate Partner Violence: A Pathway to Intervention and Prevention,” reflects her longstanding commitment to healthy relationships, relational safety, intervention, prevention, and transformational living.
Her relationship work is strengthened by decades of ministry, mentoring, counseling, coaching, singles ministry, and experience in the wedding industry.
Dr. Okenla has been involved in event planning since 1997 and is a Certified Bridal & Event Planner and Certified IWED® Event Designer. Today, however, her wedding services are intentionally focused on marriage preparation, pre-wedding support, conflict resolution, and Christian wedding officiating—not full-service wedding planning or event design.
She is President and Founder of Life Encounters Inc., Transformational Prayers Network, and Sisters Connections.
She is also the author of relationship and transformational resources including Red Flags and Divine Connections Marital Guide and Prayer Tips.
